Surviving family include his wife Sharon of the home, daughter Alison Voos and husband Darren and grandson Mark Voos all of Bunker Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and half brothers Billy and Wilbur Madden.

A graveside memorial service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at the Bunker Hill Cemetery in Bunker Hill, Kansas with Pastor Earl Haggard officiating.  A military honor guard will be performed by the Russell V.F.W.
