Bryan L. Brungardt, 44, of Russell, Kansas, died on Wednesday, July 08, 2015, at his home in Russell.

Bryan was born on June 11, 1971, in Hays, Kansas, the son of Gary L. Brungardt and Jennifer (Dumler) Parish.  He grew up in the Russell and Gorham area and graduated from Gorham High School in 1989.  He worked in construction and enjoyed spending time outdoors.  He enjoyed Fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving family include his brother Christopher Brungardt and wife Kathleen of Hays, Kansas; half sisters Erica and Taelor Parish both of Wichita, Kansas and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary in Russell, Kansas.  The family will greet guests the day of the service.  The guest book will be available starting Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the mortuary and available the day of the service.  Cremation has been selected and burial of the cremains will take place at a later date.  Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
