Patricia Lynn "Trish" McAdoo, 49, of San Antonio, Texas, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 07, 2016, at the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio.
Trish was born on March 10, 1966, in Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Gary P. and Dolores (Schumacher) Vonfeldt. She grew up and attended high school in Golden Colorado. She attended Park University in Parkville, Missouri and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Sports Medicine. She met, fell in love and was united in marriage to Trevor McAdoo on May 27, 2003, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Trish and Trevor lived in Kansas City where she worked for AT&T. They later moved to Rochester, Texas where she worked as the City Manager of Rochester and later moved to San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of the American Legion Riders and Open Road Girls. She enjoyed spending time having fun with her family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed riding motorcycles traveling around the country with her husband.
She is survived by her husband Trevor McAdoo of the home; parents Gary P. and Dolores (Schumacher) VonFfldt of Iuka, Kansas; in-laws Bill and Carol McAdoo of Russell; brothers John Vonfeldt of Parker, Colorado and Gary Vonfeldt, Jr. and wife Brenda of Houston, Texas; sisters Cindy Vonfeldt of Earp, California and Theresa Vonfeldt and husband Bob of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Funeral Mass to celebrate Patricia's life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Walker, Kansas. Burial will follow at the St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery in Walker. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Monday, March 14, 2016, at the mortuary. A Vigil service will be held at 7 P.M. on Monday, March 14th at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Ann's Cemetery Fund and sent in care of Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary 610 N. Maple St. Russell, KS 67665. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas, is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
