Thomas J. "Tom" Arnhold, 71, of Russell, Kansas, died on Tuesday, September 04, 2018, at his home in Russell.

Tom was born on June 08, 1947, in Hays, Kansas, the son of Fred J. and Eileen (Bieker) Arnhold.  Tom grew up in Hays, Kansas, and graduated from Hays High School.  He worked in the oil field industry and later in life as a truck driver.  He enjoyed University of Oklahoma football and  spending time with his family.

Surviving family include son Scott Arnhold of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and daughter Sheri Arnhold of Woodward, Oklahoma; brothers Fred Arnhold (Eileen) of Russell, Kansas, Rick Arnhold (Marlene) of Hays, Kansas, Dave Arnhold (Renee) of Monroe, North Carolina, Tim Arnhold (Jane) Loveland, Colorado, Steve Arnhold and companion Christy Ratliff of Hays, Kansas and Jeff Arnhold (Amy) of Andover, Kansas; sisters Marilynn Norris (Joe) of Andover, Kansas, Audrey Montgomery (Richard) of Wichita, Kansas and Liz Arnhold and companion Tim Flack of Nevada, Iowa; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date.  Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas, is in charge of the memorial service arrangements.
