Linda June Eaton, 65, of Russell, Kansas, died on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at the Russell Regional Hospital in Russell, Kansas.
Linda was born on January 09, 1953, in Tucumcari, New Mexico, the daughter of Fletcher O. and Ruby (Long) Eaton. Linda grew up in Wichita, Kansas and attended school in Wichita. She was blessed with 5 sons Steven, Michael, Donald and John and Tim. She worked most of her life as a cook, house cleaner and baby sitter. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and going to garage sales. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving family include her sons Michael Morton (Leslie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Donald Morton (Mary Ann) of Alabama, John Morton (Chris) of Wichita, Kansas and Tim Davidson (Mary) of Derby, Kansas; 3 sisters Helen Brown of Wichita, Kansas, Betty Hoag of Russell, Kansas and Mary Ann Ast of Goddard, Kansas; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Steven Morton; 5 brothers Johnny, Jim, Jo, Jerry and Donnie.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, October 04, 2018, at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas. A private family burial will follow at the Russell City Cemetery in Russell, Kansas. Family will greet guests from 10 A. M. to service time on Thursday. Memorials may be given to Hays Hospice or Russell County Food Pantry and sent in care of the mortuary. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas, is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
