Mary L. Holliday, 70, passed away on April 2nd, 2020, at UKMC Hays Campus in Hays, Kansas.

Mary was born on January 21st, 1950, at Russell City Hospital, Russell, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Virginia (Steinert) Boxberger.  She grew up in the Milberger community south of Russell.  She attended Lincoln Township School north of Milberger for the first 8 grades, and finished her education at Russell High School. She was a retired registered nurse.  She enjoyed cooking and baking and was accomplished at crocheting and knitting.

Surviving family members include son, Matt Langhofer, Bunker Hill, Kansas; four grandchildren, Matthew Langhofer, Logan Langhofer, Laura Langhofer and Lacey Langhofer; one sister, Beverly Miller of Leawood, Kansas; and one brother, Tim (Laura) Boxberger of Great Bend, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Douglas Langhofer.

Cremation has taken place.  A private family gathering will take place at a later date.  The family suggests memorials to the Russell Senior Center.  Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell is in charge of these arrangements.
