Lois D. Harfield, 80, of Natoma, Kansas, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at her home in Natoma.

Lois was born on August 30, 1931 in East Orange, New Jersey.  She grew up in the Washington D.C. area and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School.  She was united in marriage to David Harfield in 1960.  She was in the food service industry most all her life.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving family include her daughter Sharon Cheatham and husband Billy of Russell, son David Harfield of Los Angeles, California, daughter Linda Yates of Harrisburg, Virginia, son Larry Williamson and wife Judy of Pocomoke, Maryland, daughter Susan Williamson and sister Nancy Williamson of South Carolina; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband David.

The family has selected cremation services and will have a private family service at a later date.  Pohlman~Varner~Peeler Mortuary of Natoma is in charge of the memorial service arrangements.
