Hattie Diana “Peggy” Ehrlich, 91 of Brookville, Pennsylvania and formerly of Russell, Kansas died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her home in Brookville.

Hattie was born December 4, 1920 in Russell, Kansas the daughter of Guy and Lydia (DeWald) St. Aubyn.  She grew up in Russell and graduated from Russell High School.

Hattie was united in marriage to August Ehrlich on October 8, 1938 in Russell.  This union was blessed with two children; Larry and Sherry.  They made their home in Russell until 2004 when they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be closer to their son.  August preceded her in death on May 23, 2005.   Later she moved to Brookville to live with her daughter.

Hattie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

Surviving family include her son, Larry Ehrlich and wife Mary of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Sherry Dimon of Brookville, Pennsylvania; sister, Danelda St. Aubyn of Great Bend, Kansas; four grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Larry Dimon, two brothers and four sisters.

Celebration of Hattie’s life will be held at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary in Russell at 3 pm, Thursday, Jan 26.   Signing of the book will take place from 9 AM to service time on Thursday.  Condolences may be sent in care of Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary who is in charge of these arrangements.
