Connie Jo Wagner, 42 of Russell died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at her home.

Connie was born December 7, 1969 in Ransom, Kansas the daughter of Wilbert and Rose (Fehrenbach) Wagner.  She grew up in the Lane County area and graduated from Oakley High School in 1988.  She later attended and graduated from Colby County Community College.

Connie was a homemaker and mother to her two boys, Austin and Jericho.  She also enjoyed quilting and gardening.

Surviving family include her two boys; Timothy Austin Wagner and Jericho Jarred Wagner of the home; father, Wilbert Wagner (Patti) of Dighton, Kansas; mother, Rose Wagner of Ransom, Kansas; brothers, Jamie Whittemire of Colby, Kansas and Marty Markey of Iowa; sisters, Lori Rolo of Ness City, Kansas and Monica Smith of Dighton, Kansas; and brother-in-law, Gary Rolo of Ransom, Kansas.

A Memorial Service for Connie will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell.  No visitation due to cremation taking place.  A memorial has been established as Education Fund for Austin & Jericho.  Contributions and condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, who is in charge of these arrangements.
