Carl Johnson passed away July 26, 2012, at 7:29 A.M.  An avid hunter and fishermen, he could also be seen riding around Russell in his Harley Davidson mortocycle with his sidecar attached.  He leaves behind his wife Lucille, his daughter Connie and his sons John and Robert.

He will also be missed by his grandchildren Scott, Kelly, Brian, David, Parker and Kate as well as his great grandchildren John, Jason, Matt, aron, Bryce, Brooke, Bryant and Lilly and great-great granddaughter Journi.

Carl was cremated and was inurned at Russell City Cemetery in July 2012.  The family has requested that memorials be sent to the Alzheimers Foundation.  Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell helped the family with the service.
