Mark Alan Dumler, 57, of Lyons, Kansas, and former Russell resident, died on November 21, 2012, at his home in Lyons.

Mark was born on February 22, 1955, in Russell, Kansas, the son of Walter Louis and Norma Lee (Eichman) Dumler.  He grew up in the Russell area and graduated from Russell High School in 1973.  He had lived in Newton, Kansas, before moving to Lyons about a year ago.

He is survived by his son C.J. Dumler of Luray, Kansas; 3 daughters Sarah Schridde of Great Bend, Kansas, Kelli Dumler of Abilene, Kansas and Emily Garrard of Wilson, Kansas; 2 brothers Dennis Dumler of Russell, Kansas, and Larry Dumler of Lyons, Kansas and 5 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 08, 2012, at the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Russell with Pastor Roger Dennis officiating.  Cremation has preceded the service.  Memorials may be given to the Friends of Animals and sent in care of the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary who is assisting the family with the graveside service.
