Frances Marie Rusch, 90, of Russell, Kansas, died on Tuesday, February 05, 2013, at the Wheatland Nursing Center in Russell.

Frances was born on January 26, 1923, on the family farm in rural Russell County, Kansas, the daughter of Charles P. and Inez A. (Gookin) Rusch.  She grew up and attended public school in Russell and graduated from Russell High School in 1942.  For many years she provided a cleaning service, cleaning local area offices.  She also performed yard work and worked as a babysitter to earn extra money.  She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Russell.  She enjoyed working in her own yard and love spending time with her cats and often took in the occasional stray cat.

Surviving family include her sister Josephine Burgess of Wichita, Kansas and sister in-law Lillian Rusch of Russell and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brother Louis Rusch 

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date and cremation has been selected by the family.  Her cremains will be inurned at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Russell.  Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
