Larry Alfred Scheuerman, 63, of Russell, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Russell Regional Hospital’s, Main Street Manor.  He was born on November 19, 1944 in Russell, Kansas, the son of Alfred and Esther(Karst) Scheuerman.

 

Larry grew up and attended school in Russell and graduated from Russell High School with the class of 1962.  He moved several times during his life, living in Hoisington, Kansas as well as Arkansas and Missouri.  While in Arkansas he worked with Tyson Foods for several years.  He was a member of the Milberger United Emmanuel Lutheran Church.  He enjoyed painting and woodworking and spending time with friends and family.  He was married for a while and has 3 adopted children named Darcy, Bethany and Rodney.

 

He is survived by his children, brother Don Scheuerman and wife Margie of Wallace, Kansas and 5 Grandchildren.

 

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Milberger Cemetery in Milberger, Kansas with burial to follow.  Reverend Amy Austin of the Milberger United Emmanuel Lutheran Church will officiate the service.  The family has requested that those attending please dress very casual.  Memorials may be given to the Milberger United Emmanuel Lutheran Church.  Memorials and condolences may be mailed to 610 N.
