Jessica Marie Mayberry, 25 of Russell died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at her home.  Jessica was born November 16, 1983 the daughter of Ricky D. and Susan (Naylor) Mayberry.  She grew up and attended school in Russell.

Jessica was a manager at A&W Restaurant of Russell.  She had worked there for over nine years.  She also worked at the Super 8.

She enjoyed latch hook crafts, spending time outdoors by fishing and camping. She loved being around her nieces, nephews and animals.

Surviving family include her mother, Susan Mayberry of Russell; brother, Ricky, Jr. and wife Connie of Russell; sister, Cassandra Mayberry of Russell; Companion, Daniel Green of the home; granddad, Kenny Blanke of Russell, her dog Scrappy and cat Chopper.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Mayberry.

Celebration of Jessica’s Life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 12, 2009 at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell with Pastor Dale Lane officiating.  Interment will follow at Russell City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from noon to 8 PM Sunday at the mortuary.  A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society.  Contributions and condolences may be sent in care of the mortuary.  Condolences may also be sent via email at www.pvpmortuary.com.
