William, "Bill" S. Robinette of Russell, KS departed this life on December 1, 2009, at Russell Regional Hospital.
He was born on September 26, 1947 in Athens, Ohio to Stewart and Eva (Antle) Robinette. He was a devoted father and husband. He attended high school in Atlanta, GA where he graduated in 1965. He was an Air Force veteran, and was an accomplished chef. He lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas where he met his wife, and they moved with their two children to Ellis, KS in 2001, and then moved to Russell, KS having lived there since 2004.
Survivors include wife Michele, son Josh and daughter Jessica of the home, daughters Amber of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Jennifer of Florida; brother John Robinette and sister Judy Robinette of Memphis, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday December 4, 2009 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Russell with Pastor Dave Jones officiating. Burial will not take place as cremation has preceded the
service. Memorials may be given to the William S. Robinette Memorial Fund and sent in care of the mortuary to 610 N. Maple * Russell, KS 67665. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
